As we enter the fabric, we hear the machine, we discern faces through the smoke, we feel the endless beat of a very old routine. The family has been making tofu for the past six generations. Same place, same hands, same craftsmanship. The tofu is spread around Jianshui, in houses and in restaurants. People gather around a grill and share a moment until the last bite. We followed some of them. We met three women who in their ordinary life are keeping tofu alive and are shaping the future of their city.
随着我们进入作坊，机器轰鸣作响，我们在烟雾迷漫中辨认出面庞，感受到了一种不停运转的古老手艺。这家人做豆腐已经有六代人的历史了，在同样的地方，用同样的双手和工艺。豆腐在建水的家庭和餐馆随处可见，人们聚集在烧烤架边分享着美味，直到最后一口。我们跟随着她们，遇见了三位女性，她们的日常生活因豆腐而增添活力，她们正在塑造着这座小城的未来。
