As the young locals move away from towns to cities, the decaying village of Donglindu is alive again through “Coming Home”. As the village falls to time, a hotel “Xianggen” (meaning home town) collaborates with villagers and brings life back to the village. Urbanites seek a escape away from the rapid demands of Chinese cities at Donglindu. But perhaps they will also seek the past unconsciously, and discover their agricultural past.
随着大量来自农村的年轻人渐渐定居城市，原本衰败落后的东林渡乡村又凭借让城市人“回归”的理念重新焕发生机。随着时间的推移，一个叫做“乡根”（意思是家乡生活的根基）的民宿，在与村民的合作中把具有现代化的元素带进了淳朴的东林渡乡村。饱受生活压力的城市人极度渴望回归乡村恬静的生活，而这些刚好在东林渡可以得到满足。在不知不觉寻找过去的美好生活中，却也发现了不论是过去、现在，还是对于生态、生活和生物，农业都起着相当重要的作用。
