In ancient times, the city of Quanzhou was one of the most important Chinese ports along the historic Maritime Silk Road. Thanks to that, Quanzhou now boasts a rich and diverse culture, comprised of people from many different religions. Following the people of Quanzhou through their lives and routines, we will uncover the intricacies of the religions practiced in Quanzhou, and also dig deeper into the inter-religious relations within Quanzhou itself. We will head to several important places of worship and document the architecture, and also find people who practice religion there. We will interview them and gain more insight.
