Two men who are maintaining the chinese high speed rail. One young, lives in the factory’s building and dreams about a family and living next to his parents, another who works at night and travels several hours back and forth to his family.
Their work helps connecting other people together while they seem to be disconnected from their families.
Through following them during work and at home we get a a glimpse of the ordinary life of Chinese people
我们现在乘坐高铁去往远方不需要花太多时间，但那些高铁检修人员往往乘坐远去的列车，离家远去…他们为了高铁安全高速的行驶而日夜忙碌。当列车迎着朝阳出库，他们的心也随之飞驰。远去的不仅仅是列车而已，还有积聚在高铁检修上的专注和用心，他们渴望远方，渴望卓越，渴望将幸福通过列车传递。一些人远去了，他们却留在动车所里，坚守着。
