Under the shade of a large tree-lined courtyard, the middle-aged craftsman (Feng Linfang) reconnects with his son who returns to his hometown in the prime of his life (Feng Qixiong). The newly born grandson, wife, daughter-in-law live a seemingly harmonious and quiet life in a natural flower garden called “Tian Yuan”. However, through the stealth of the lens, we discover the meeting point of traditional craftsmanship and modified car shows. The disrupted undercurrent between the generations brings afloat a question of following personal wishes or adhering to family expectations.
在一个绿树成荫的庭院里，热爱修剪树木的中年手艺人（冯林方），和正值壮年却返乡继承父业的儿子（冯奇雄），以及刚出生不久的孙子、妻子、媳妇，共同安居在名为“恬园”的自然花圃中，过着和谐、恬静的生活。然而，跟随镜头的潜行，传统手艺与时尚赛车，摩登都市与恬静乡村，个人愿望与家庭期待之间，究竟如何选择？是跟随个人的意志，还是为了家庭和睦做出妥协？父与子，几代人之间的情感角力，在看似平静、和谐的生活表现下，似乎暗流涌动······
