An old man teaches a young boy how to play the violi. “You should be careful before you start “, he tells him. an old man starts walking alone on path surrounded by mountains, lakes, senses and memories. His route is slow and calm. A route filled with contradictions. The man’s gaze crosses a young girl’s gaze. The past and the future meet in the present and simultaneously in an abstract time through us and beyond us. The older’s wisdom gives its turn to the younger’s purity.
A boat on dry land and a boat in the water both seem untraveled without the presence of human. We watch the workers, but not the result of their toil. all of these elements exist in a common place, the mother-nature with which we are inextricably connected. An interdependent relationship which requires the cultivation not only of the nature but also of the human. The film ends in a black frame with the sounds of birds still singing and giving the sense of continuity, the circle of life.
